Lang Loop v1 は無料で課金のない Chrome 拡張です。このポリシーはデータ処理を説明します。
処理する情報と目的。 YouTube の受信済み字幕、再生位置、動画識別子と、利用者が開いた記事の本文を、字幕表示・学習操作・翻訳・辞書のために端末内で処理します。翻訳対象の字幕の文とページ本文、未収録語の補助訳の見出し語、復習画面で「訳す」を押した文を Google 翻訳（translate-pa.googleapis.com）へ送信します。Google を利用できない場合は Microsoft 翻訳（edge.microsoft.com）へ送信し、両方を利用できない場合は Chrome の端末内 Translator を試します。辞書・読み上げ・単語帳は英語が対象です。Chrome でサイトへのアクセスが許可されている HTTP/HTTPS ページでは辞書を自動的に利用できるよう準備し、辞書参照に必要な英語と周辺の文脈を端末内で処理します。辞書の語義は同梱データで端末内検索します。ページ辞書と YouTube の字幕辞書で未収録語の補助訳を表示する際は、見出し語だけを Google 翻訳へ送信します。利用できない場合は Microsoft 翻訳、両方利用できない場合は端末内 Translator を試します。周辺の文脈は補助訳のために外部送信しません。ページ翻訳を開始した場合の本文送信は以下のとおりです。
送信先と共有。 初回の外部翻訳前に、拡張内で同意画面を表示します。同意した場合だけ外部送信し、「送らない」を選ぶと外部送信せず、設定画面でいつでも変更できます。 翻訳対象の字幕の文とページ本文、未収録語の補助訳の見出し語、復習画面で「訳す」を押した文を Google 翻訳（translate-pa.googleapis.com）へ送信します。Google を利用できない場合は Microsoft 翻訳（edge.microsoft.com）へ送信し、両方を利用できない場合は Chrome の端末内 Translator を試します。送信内容は翻訳対象のテキストと翻訳元・翻訳先の言語です。翻訳要求にはページの Cookie や認証情報を含めません。翻訳サービス2件への接続権限と、記事辞書のための HTTP(S) サイトアクセスを要求します。AI の操作・設定はありません。YouTube や記事サイト自身の通常の通信と Chrome による翻訳モデルの取得は続きます。Lang Loop によるユーザーデータの利用は、Limited Use の要件を含む Chrome Web Store User Data Policy に従います。
保持と削除。 字幕・記事・訳の表示用データは一時的なメモリで扱い、明示保存した分を除いて永続保存しません。復習画面で新たに取得した訳は一時表示のみです。chrome.storage.local に外部翻訳の同意選択、字幕・ページ表示、辞書を開く操作、訳の見せ方、読み上げ音声・速さ、復習の新規カード数、サイト origin ごとの翻訳状態と表示モード、明示保存した語・文・語義・文脈・出典 URL・日時・復習状態を保持します。保存した文の訳には供給元（google / microsoft / device）を保持します。以前の版で保存した AI 例文、AI 設定、訳の供給元の値も互換のため保持しますが、v1 の画面から AI の操作はできません。項目は単語帳で削除でき、拡張を削除すると端末内の保存内容も消えます。書き出した CSV・JSON は別ファイルとして残るため、利用者が別途削除してください。
英和辞書。 辞書の語義は同梱データで端末内検索します。調べた語と文脈は保存操作をした場合だけ単語帳に残ります。ページ辞書と YouTube の字幕辞書で未収録語の補助訳を表示する際は、見出し語だけを Google 翻訳へ送信します。利用できない場合は Microsoft 翻訳、両方利用できない場合は端末内 Translator を試します。周辺の文脈は補助訳のために外部送信しません。
単語帳。 語と字幕から保存した文を出典・復習状態とともに端末内に保存します。検索・復習・削除、CSV または JSON の書き出し、JSON の読み込みができます。以前の版の保存済み例文は画面には表示せず、バックアップと既存 CSV 列には保持します。
読み上げ。 英語の見出し・保存文・記事は chrome.tts の端末内英語音声で読み上げます。リモート音声は使いません。対応音声がない場合は利用できません。
問い合わせと変更。 提供者: nobuhiro。連絡先: nobuhiro.monolife@gmail.com。問い合わせで受け取ったメールアドレスと本文は返信・不具合調査のためだけに使用し、第三者に提供せず、対応終了後は不要になった時点で削除します。処理内容の変更時はこのポリシーを更新します。

Lang Loop v1 is a free Chrome extension with no payments. This policy explains its data handling.
Information and purposes. Received YouTube captions, playback position, video identifiers and article text are processed on your device for caption display, study controls, translation and dictionary lookup. Text to translate is sent to Google Translate (translate-pa.googleapis.com): caption sentences and page text, headwords for auxiliary translations of missing dictionary entries, and saved sentences when you choose 「訳す」 (Translate) during review. If Google is unavailable, they are sent to Microsoft Translator (edge.microsoft.com); if both services are unavailable, Chrome's on-device Translator is tried. The dictionary, speech and vocabulary book cover English. On HTTP and HTTPS pages where Chrome grants site access, Lang Loop automatically prepares dictionary lookup and processes the English text and nearby context needed for lookup on your device. Dictionary definitions are looked up in bundled data on your device. For auxiliary translations of missing entries in the article and YouTube caption dictionaries, only the headword is sent to Google Translate. If Google is unavailable, Microsoft Translator is tried; if both are unavailable, the on-device Translator is tried. Nearby context is not sent externally for auxiliary translation. Article text is sent when you start page translation, as described below.
Transmission and sharing. Before the first external translation, the extension shows a consent screen. Text is sent externally only with consent; choosing 「送らない」 (Do not send) prevents external transmission, and you can change this choice at any time in settings. Text to translate is sent to Google Translate (translate-pa.googleapis.com): caption sentences and page text, headwords for auxiliary translations of missing dictionary entries, and saved sentences when you choose 「訳す」 (Translate) during review. If Google is unavailable, they are sent to Microsoft Translator (edge.microsoft.com); if both services are unavailable, Chrome's on-device Translator is tried. Requests include the text to translate and the source and target languages, without page cookies or authentication information. Connection permissions for the two translation services and HTTP(S) site access for the article dictionary are required. There are no AI controls or settings. Normal traffic from YouTube or article sites and Chrome model downloads continue. Lang Loop's use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion. Captions, article text and translations used for display stay temporarily in memory unless explicitly saved. Translations newly requested during review are shown temporarily only. chrome.storage.local keeps the external translation consent choice, caption and page display preferences, dictionary trigger, translation reveal mode, speech voice and pace, daily new-card count, translation state and display mode per site origin, and explicitly saved words, sentences, senses, context, source URLs, dates and review state. Saved sentence translations retain their provider (google / microsoft / device). Older AI examples, AI settings and translation provider values remain for data compatibility, but v1 offers no AI controls. Delete items in the vocabulary book; uninstalling the extension removes its local storage. Exported CSV and JSON files remain separately and must be deleted by you.
English–Japanese dictionary. Dictionary definitions are looked up in bundled data on your device. A word and its context are saved only when you press Save. For auxiliary translations of missing entries in the article and YouTube caption dictionaries, only the headword is sent to Google Translate. If Google is unavailable, Microsoft Translator is tried; if both are unavailable, the on-device Translator is tried. Nearby context is not sent externally for auxiliary translation.
Vocabulary book. Saved words and caption sentences remain on your device with sources and review state. You can search, review and delete entries, export CSV or JSON, and import JSON. Older saved examples are hidden in the interface but retained in backups and existing CSV columns.
Read aloud. English headwords, saved sentences and articles use local English voices through chrome.tts. Remote voices are not used. Speech is unavailable without an eligible voice.
